Options
| Corniche Basic Module |
The basic module contains the following elements required in every CornicheTM application:
|
| Corniche Banking |
| This option provides the ability to manage private banks and offshore banks. It includes:
|
| CornicheNetTM On-line Banking |
| This option provides on-line banking facilities. It requires Corniche BankingTM, and includes the following functions for the clients of a bank:
|
| Corniche Card Management |
| This option allows the integration of a card solution from a third-party card supplier/processor. All of the basic elements to support the following activities are provided. Interfaces to a number of card processors are already available and adding new interfaces is simple, quick and inexpensive. |
| Corniche Commodity Exchange |
| This option allows the management of a commodity brokerage business with storage of value in either physical or digital commodity format or both. Commodities are treated as just another currency.
|
| Corniche DocSafeTM |
| This option provides the ability to place key documents on-line for review by staff or clients as necessary:
|
| Corniche ActiveAccess |
|
| This option protects the bank or exchange from the bad online habits of its customers by requiring that a random number, generated from a secure but inexpensive hardware token, be entered during login and optionally when certain critical transactions are requested. This service can optionally be charged for on a periodic basis and if refused, allows the grounds to deny claims for restitution of assets if internet fraud takes place.
|
| Corniche API |
| This option can be used in many ways to drive the accounting within Corniche from another application. For example, a trust company affiliated with a bank could be operating a legacy trust management application and can enquire directly from the application as to trust balances held as bank accounts within Corniche. As another example, a bank might allow a trusted Partner of a bank to be granted controlled Branded Account facilities (where the bank account class is named after the Partner and is used only by the Partner's clients/members and, via a secure mechanism, to carry out certain profiling and accounting actions on the branded accounts, if so authorised by the bank, including but not limited to:
|
| Corniche Merchant Payments |
| This option allows a merchant which has an account with a bank operating Corniche to accept payments for goods and services by direct debit from other clients of the bank. Typically, a button with the bank's logo and the words "Pay from" or similar are added to the Merchant's Check-out page. Once clicked on by a customer, the payment is handled by the bank and if successful, the client and merchant are informed. Delivery of the goods and/or services can then immediately take place:
